![]() ![]() ![]() I didn’t realize how much I took for granted. At the same time, I want to start new projects so there’s sort of excitement there for me to move on to something else.īut, it is hard to leave a world that you built so much into and to start fresh into something new. In some ways this does feel like the natural thing. You know, there’s things like that there’s TV shows and books like that. I’d rather have people wishing the series would’ve gone on than to say ‘Oh my god, why didn’t they kill it sooner?’ I wouldn’t want to extend it, beat it into the ground for the sake of sales or popularity. I knew it was going to be five or six books. When I first sat down to write it, I conceived the overall arc as lasting about this long. At the same time I always knew the story was going to end at this point. ![]() In an interview with Galle圜at, Richelle Mead was asked how she felt about ending Vampire Academy, she answered by saying that while she was sad, she knew it was right. ![]() Read on for info on this new series and Mead’s thoughts on ending Vampire Academy. A dark, supernatural romance, perfect for fans of Holly Black, Cassandra Clare and Stephenie Meyer. ![]() ![]() Because the reader is slowly made aware of the girls’ secrets, how the girls are eventually shamed and outed is slightly predictable. They’re all slightly immoral in some way, apart from Emily, whose secret is more to do with her identity rather than a naughty habit or action. I appreciated the fast pace of the story, and how you were always in the thick of the drama. One minute, I was reading Chapter One and the next minute, I was reading the Acknowledgments. I thought I’d be bored by the repetitive nature of the text-reveal, but instead I was addicted. The same thing happens to each of them, or variations of the same thing depending on the secret. There are four girls, Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hannah. Anonymous texts are delivered years later, that suggest Ali is quite as dead as everyone believed, *dramatic music swells* and secrets are about to become common knowledge. ![]() Knowing nothing about the TV show and therefore the plot, I was pleasantly surprised by my reaction to ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and it’s ability to draw you in and wrap you up in the lies, just as much as the characters.Įvery girl has a secret that they shared with Ali. If I’d have known PLL was about 16 books long, then maybe I’d have reconsidered my decision. I really wanted to dive into a new series. ![]() ![]() Where to Find: Goodreads | Author | Amazon ![]() ![]() ![]() When she looks at herself, she just sees a hole right in her center. ![]() This is a really cool book that little readers can enjoy and benefit from for years, and we liked it a lot. Zero Written by Kathryn Otoshi Zero is a big round number.
